Work in progress environment based on Nausicaä: Valley of the Wind.
Still a lot to do here and many more assets slated to make but wanted to set up a little scene to test out my assets and rendering. I've been using this scene a bit for school demos and the like in my day job.
Unreal Engine with using dynamic shadow cascades and baked static lighting. Also using volumetric lighting for the shafts.
The asset gym is pretty simple still at this stage, and nothing crazy in the materials (no parallax or tessellation). Zbrush hi-polys, decimated or Maya low polys. Substance Painter textures for assets, combined with Substance Designer materials for world textures.
